First, how to distinguish aluminum alloy and titanium alloy?

2. Compared with acid resistance, aluminum reacts immediately when it encounters acid, and titanium has good acid resistance.
3. Measure the weight. Aluminum doors of the same size are the lightest, titanium doors are slightly heavier, and steel doors are the heaviest. However, if the manufacturer intends to deceive people, they can use a mixture of aluminum and steel to make a door as heavy as titanium alloy. It's easy to tell if there's steel in the door though. Get a magnet and see if it sticks to the door. titanium alloy pipes are not magnetic and will not attract magnets.
4. Look at the color. Find an inconspicuous small corner, and use sandpaper to remove a layer of oxide film or paint on the surface to fully expose the underlying metal. Then look closely at the color of the metal. Take an empty coke can (aluminum) and sand off the paint on the surface to compare to the door. Aluminum alloys are light gray, titanium alloys are dark gray, and look more shiny than aluminum.
5. If possible, you can also measure resistance. The resistance of titanium alloy is much larger than that of aluminum alloy.

Titanium alloy features: The alloy composed of titanium as the base and other alloying elements is called titanium alloy. At room temperature, put a certain amount of clear water into the pickling tank, the normal ratio of HNO 3 to HF, HNO 3 and HF water is HF+residual H2O), and adjusted accordingly according to the actual situation.
The pickling time is 10-15 minutes, and it can also be determined according to the pickling situation. During the pickling process, you should often turn around to check to ensure that the pickling is even and complete, and avoid pickling too fast or over pickling. After pickling, The titanium tube is inspected by visual inspection, and the oxide skin on the inside and outside of the titanium tube is removed, the silvery white is removed, and washed.
After pickling and inspection, the titanium tube should be cleaned in time to remove residual acid and pickling materials from the inner hole and outer surface to ensure the details of the titanium tube are bright.
In order to eliminate the influence of the surface oxide film on the hydrogen absorption process, titanium can be heated in vacuum or hydrogen. When heated to 700~850°C, the oxides on the surface of the titanium tube begin to diffuse to the metal, and the hydrogen absorption rate of the titanium heat exchanger tube is greatly improved. However, this method eliminates the oxygen in the oxide film and enters the metal during the heat treatment process, which not only reduces the diffusion rate of hydrogen into the metal, but also causes oxygen to enter the final product, thereby reducing the quality of the product; at the same time, the titanium tube Particles during heat treatment will also cause a certain degree of sintering, reducing their hydrogen absorption rate.
Titanium alloy is the earliest developed and most widely used titanium alloy in the world. Its output accounts for more than half of the total output of various titanium alloy semi-finished products in the world, and more than 80% in the aerospace industry.
Introduce the precautions for installation, use, welding, transportation and maintenance.
1. Grade 2 Pure Titanium Tubes and elbows should be inspected regularly to keep the surface clean, remove dirt, and store them neatly in a ventilated place indoors. Do not pile them up or store them in the open.
2. When the ball valve, stop valve and gate valve of the titanium alloy pipe elbow are used, they are only fully open or fully closed, and are not allowed to adjust the flow rate, so as to prevent the sealing surface from being eroded and accelerated wear.
3. There is an inverted sealing device inside the gate valve and the upper thread stop valve, and the hand wheel is rotated to the top surface to ensure that it will not rust or fall. Keep the storage environment of titanium alloy pipes, titanium elbows, titanium size heads, titanium tees and other titanium pipe fittings dry and ventilated, keep the surface of pipes and pipe fittings clean and neat, and store them accurately.
Precautions for installation and transportation of titanium tubes:
1. Installation of titanium and titanium seamless pipes Titanium and titanium alloy pipe manufacturers should pay attention not to contact or collide with iron materials during transportation and storage of titanium and titanium alloy pipes.
2. Mechanical methods should be used for cutting titanium and titanium alloy pipes, and the cutting speed should be low. When cutting or grinding titanium pipes with grinding wheels, special grinding wheels should be used; flame cutting should not be used. Groove should be processed by mechanical method.
3. Inert gas shielded welding or vacuum welding should be used for welding titanium alloy welded pipes. Oxygen-acetylene welding or carbon dioxide gas shielded welding should not be used, and ordinary manual arc welding should not be used.
4. When installing titanium and titanium alloy pipes, do not use iron tools and materials to knock and squeeze; rubber plates or soft plastic plates should be placed between carbon steel supports, hangers and titanium and titanium alloy pipes to make them No direct contact with titanium and titanium alloy pipes; casings should be installed when titanium and titanium alloy pipes pass through walls and floors. The gap should not be less than 10mm, and insulation should be filled. The insulation should not contain iron impurities.
5. Titanium and titanium alloy pipes should not be directly welded with other metal pipes. When connection is required, looper flange connection can be used. The non-metallic gaskets used are generally rubber pads or plastic pads, and the chloride ion content should be controlled not to exceed 25ppm.
