As we all know, the melting point of titanium is 1660.0°C, which is not easy to burn, but titanium is also easy to burn in the following environments:
1. When the titanium material is in contact with an open flame when it is in contact with air and samples, and the temperature exceeds 500 or 1200 degrees, the titanium will burn.
2. In dry chlorine gas, even if it is below zero, a violent chemical reaction will occur to form titanium tetrachloride, which will be decomposed into titanium dichloride and even burned.
3. Titanium materials may burn after contacting methanol, trichloroethylene, molten metal salt, and other media.
Therefore, Grade 3 Pure Titanium Sheet materials should avoid the above media during use.
